Agile Experience Design

Integrating the Agile and Experience Design Practices

I think it'd be a great help if we could use this group to share & socialize resources and templates for UX work within the agile / scrum development context.

Too often, I find that using old planners, templates and UX documentation/deliverable formats constrains and slows us down.

Anybody concur? And should we start sharing / discussing?

Paul - couldn't agree more. In fact, so much that turned your discussion into a separate tab. (Hope you don't mind.) Would definitely encourage others to post links to resources that have worked for them.

Glad you agree. Let's all share some content, improve the practice.

Dan Harrelson has a pretty good list of prototyping tools on the Adaptive Path blog. It's actually a valuable Google Doc.

The list covers more than prototyping. The people who commented provided great feedback -- they mentioned items for collaboration or testing.

Here's an article from Desiree Sy that I just came across: "Adapting Usability Investigations for Agile User-Centered Design" in the Journal of Usability Studies, Volume 2, Issue 3, May 2007, pp. 112-132.

Sorry about repeating myself, but I am writing my master's thesis about User-Centered Design in Agile Development and I've put a collection of related resources online: http://www.pirkkarannikko.com/agile-ucd.html
